Happy Thursday! In an effort to keep our email blasts to weekly notices ( thank you for sticking around! ) What’s New This Week posts will continue to go out each Thursday and highlight what’s new in the shop, which events are happening in the coming weekend, and new content we have added throughout the week ( because we are writing, sharing and creating new content here more than just once a week! )
First up - we have a re-stock the Vintage Military Liner CROP jacket - a classic Military Liner, re-imagined into the perfect light-weight crop jacket for Spring & Summer. This is coming in brand-new colors that we won’t see again.
Our first batch sold out in 24 hours. We have 6 new ones ( 4 in shades of golden, peach and yellow ) that will be at Renegade Craft this weekend in Seattle. If there is one you are eyeing, snag it now before we take it to the event!
This idea brings forth all the things I have noticed from selling dozens of these over the years. And because you are always asking “why they don’t have pockets” - we added some for you. My local seamstress brought this vision to life SO PERFECTLY and I am excited to bring a brand new concept to a tried and true vintage staple.

Each jacket has been cropped, and spot repaired and had 2 front pockets added ( because you are always asking for a pocket on these! ) Such a cute and fun update to your Spring and Summer wardrobe.
The cost of this jacket reflects the time and energy to source each one ( I hand pick them myself ) and to fairly pay a local seamstress for her talent and expertise to crop, repair and add pockets to each jacket.
Want to take a look at my market and booth set-ups over the years? I wrote an extensive article that takes a deep dive - starting with day one ( my first market in July 2019! ) This was so much fun for me to write and reminisce over - and I’m super proud of how this article came together.
My pop-up Market set-ups ( then & now )
I still vividly remember the very first pop-up market I did in July 2019. The way I stress crammed everything into the back of our Subaru Outback in giant Ikea bins, my freshly purchased 10x10 tent and of course - a wicker shelf I had scored either on FB marketplace or Estate Sale.
Renegade Craft Seattle is this weekend! Saturday and Sunday June 21st and 22nd from 11am - 5pm each day. I will be in my usual location ( booth 12 ) along the far left wall in the middle of the venue. I will not have my fitting room this time ( I’m not bringing ANY pants or bottoms ) so come prepared in a tank top or tee so you can easily try on shirts, tops and jackets over your outfit. Mirror will be provided of course!
Plus we have event details for our next pop-up on June 28th! Be sure to get all the info on our June IRL post ( linked right here )
June | IRL
Okayyyy, we only have two events this month but they are EXTRA special - so please keep reading and make plans now! Grabbing our new Bandana is only going to be possible IRL this month - so stop by our birthday event on Sunday - or stop by Renegade in mid-June.
Speaking of Renegade, have you ever wondered how much it costs a small business to do these markets? Have you ever been curious if it’s worth doing? Upgrade to a paid subscription to get access to our CASE STUDY series - where I share the ins/outs of what it’s like to do these events, plus a breakdown of the real numbers.
Case Study 002
Thank you for joining me here on my series: Case Study. We’re going to dive into the details of recent pop-up markets and events - talk numbers, and learn the ins and outs of running a small business. My hope is that over time, we can learn together what makes an event a success - learn from mistakes, see what works, or what needs adjusting down the road.
Thanks for supporting slow and sustainable fashion - please help by sending this post to a friend who may be interested in following along!
