Okayyyy, we only have two events this month but they are EXTRA special - so please keep reading and make plans now! Grabbing our new Bandana is only going to be possible IRL this month - so stop by our birthday event on Sunday - or stop by Renegade in mid-June. We are also working one more event towards the end of the month - so save this post and check back soon for the updates!
One of my goals for this year is to pop-up in new neighborhoods ( and cities ) and fill my schedule with at least three events per month. I’ll be sharing our up-coming schedule on the first of each month ( but be sure to refer to our IRL events page for our full up-coming schedule. ) Want to host something together? Please email me to chat!
Sunday June 1st from 10am - 2pm at Bake Shop
Lower Queen Anne | 221 1st Ave W #100, Seattle, WA 98119
It’s our birthday! Come celebrate 6 years of blaksands at my favorite Seattle coffee shop and cafe!
Come early - there are so many really exciting things happening at this event:
ONE, we are releasing our brand new Bandana and will have a handful of them ready to see, try-on and purchase IRL before they head online. My goal is to have 5? 8? I am not sure, so come on down and be surprised :)

TWO, tattoos! by Shelby of Well Worn Ink! Get there right at 10am for sign-ups, then hang out, shop and eat. The sun will be shining! It will be a day!
THREE, there is FREE CAKE ( for the first 12 friends ) - I purchased a cake from Bake Shop to share with you, so come on down for a ‘lil treat - and don’t forget to grab your coffee or matcha. Don’t worry if you miss out - there’s plenty more sweet treats to snag inside the cafe.
FOUR, a charm bar! Sarah of KactusBlue is coming all the way down from Bellingham to make cute charm necklaces and OOAK earrings for you - come play!
and OF COURSE our lovely vendors Playdate Vintage with her cute re-worked peices, jewlery and more and Studio Vim with the fresh flower bouquets.
I am really excited about proud of this event. We would love to see you!

Magnuson Park Hangar 30 | 6310 NE 74th St, Seattle, WA 98115
It’s time for SUMMER in Seattle! I will be at Renegade Craft for their summer show ( new dates this year weeeeeee fun! ) You know this is my favorite two-day event, and there is soooo much to look at, eat, shop and explore.
I plan to bring a collection of Bandanas, a fresh batch of re-worked cropped military liners ( our first batch sold out in 24 hours, so come on down early ) , vintage tees, linen, easy to wear shirts, and some more surprises along the way. I will of course - have your favorite accessories ( hair clips from Chunks, and socks by Le Bon Shoppe )
Stay tuned for more info on my booth location!
Saturday June 28th from 10am - 2pm at Homage Coffee
Ballard | 5000 20th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107
I invite you to come hang with me at Homage - Ballard’s newest little coffee shop! Located in a breathtaking corner brick building - Homage is right on Ballard Ave, a little South of where the Farmer’s market starts.
I am SO proud of my friends Rachel & Clinton for bringing their dream of owning a coffee shop / cafe to life. Rachel is a extremely talented ceramicist and makes all the mugs for the cafe. You can even shop a curated selected of her ceramics in store ( I own a handful of her mugs ). Check out Hot Cold Heavy Light on Instagram to see her work.
Clinton is the mastermind behind the coffee - and brings his in-depth coffee knowledge to life behind the counter. You can almost taste his passion in each cup!
Rachel & Clinton have been long-time supporters of my vintage, and we have done many markets and events together over the last handful of years. I am truly so happy for them, and am excited to pop-up at their new space and introduce you to their shop!
Come on down and support the Ballard community - try one of their speciality drinks, and say hi ! I will have a rack ( or two ) of curated vintage, and a small table of home goods and accessories to shop. I hope to see you there!
Check out our full 2025 event calendar - we are currently seeking spaces to host events in new neighborhoods from Seattle to Portland and Northern California.
We are also seeking boutique partnerships who would be interested in hosting a rack of curated vintage in their shops. US-wide. Please reach out to chat, or feel free to share a boutique or space where you think we may be a good fit.
Michelle Moore is a Seattle-based creative, vintage curator, photographer, writer and educator. You can catch her at an up-coming pop-up, swing by on a night she’s hosting at the restaurant in Ballard, order one of her hand-knit Beanies, or hire her to host & plan your next event.
